Prince to Sue YouTube

Music artist Prince has announced he plans to sue YouTube and other Web sites who continue to use or distribute his music. According to a statement released by the singer, Prince wishes to “reclaim his art on the Internet.”
Prince, a pioneer of sorts in using the Internet to share his music, also has eBay and Pirate Bay in his sights; services he has listed for encouraging illegal music piracy. Suits will be filed in both the US and the UK.
A Prince spokesperson said: “Very few artists have ever taken this kind of action over their rights. Yet Prince has shown time and time again he is ready to challenge the system in new ways to put artists and music first.” Read more »
